Warranty

Every Purrmeter Refresh™ fountain comes with a 1-Year Limited Warranty, starting from the date your order is delivered. For longer protection, you can add Lifetime Care+ (our Lifetime Warranty) for $29.95 per fountain at checkout.

A warranty protects you against manufacturing defects. It is separate from our Return Policy, which covers returns of unused products within 30 days.

How to Make a Claim

1. Email us at support@purrmeter.com within your warranty period. Please include your order number, a short description of the problem, and a photo or short video that shows it.
2. Quick troubleshooting. Many issues (indicator lights, refill timing, the pump needing to prime) can be solved in a few minutes with our help.
3. We make it right. If we confirm a defect, we will send you a replacement part or a replacement fountain free of charge.

What's Covered

Defects in materials or workmanship that stop the fountain from working under normal household use, including the pump, control unit, sensors, battery, water tanks and bowl.

What's Not Covered

• Your cat's preference or how long it takes your cat to get used to the fountain
• Change of mind (please see our Return Policy)
• Normal wear and tear, such as scratches, discoloration or mineral build-up
• Accidental damage, such as drops, chewed cables or water getting into the main unit
• Using anything other than clean drinking water in the clean water tank
• Not following the care instructions, such as running the unit dry, letting the wastewater tank overflow, or putting electronic parts in the dishwasher
• Units that have been opened, modified or repaired by anyone other than Purrmeter
• Charging cables and other accessories

1-Year Limited Warranty

Included free with every fountain. Coverage lasts 12 months from the delivery date. A replacement fountain is covered for the remaining time of the original 12 months.

Lifetime Care+ (Lifetime Warranty)

An optional add-on for $29.95 per fountain. It extends the same coverage, with the same exclusions and claims process, for the lifetime of your product.

• One plan per fountain. Each plan covers one fountain from the order it was purchased with. Two fountains need two plans.
• Checkout only. It must be purchased at checkout together with the fountain it covers. It can't be added to a past order or after a problem occurs.
• Non-transferable. The plan stays with the original buyer and order and does not transfer if the fountain is sold or given away.
• Refunds. The $29.95 is refunded only if the fountain itself is returned unused under our Return Policy.
• Replacement limit. Up to one full replacement fountain per 12-month period. Replacement parts are not limited.
• Replacements stay covered. A replacement fountain continues under the same plan. It does not create a second plan.
• What "lifetime" means. Lifetime means the production life of the Purrmeter Refresh. If the model is discontinued and no parts or units remain, we will provide the closest current model or store credit of equal value.

Good to Know

• Proof of purchase from purrmeter.com is required for every claim.
• We may ask you to send the faulty unit or part back before a replacement ships. If we do, we will provide the return shipping label.
• Warranties cover private household use only.
• Nothing in this warranty limits any consumer rights you have under applicable law.
